TSC3 Locked Touch Screen and the touch screen is not working…

TSC3 Locked Touch Screen.  This is a bad day when this happens to you out in the field.  Sure, there are lots of  keyboard shortcuts that you can use to do *most* of the things that you can do with the touch screen….we have an earlier blog post on just that.

But… what do you do if the touch screen does not work and somehow the screen is locked?

If FN + . and FN + 8 this doesn’t work then please get them to try the following:

1. If they haven’t already done so, install My Mobiler on their PC. My Mobiler is a third party utility that allows you to control a Windows Mobile device from a PC (https://www.mymobiler.com/windowsmobile.html).

2. After installing My Mobiler, connect the PC to the TSC3 via a USB cable and Windows Mobile Device Center, or Active Sync.

3. After connecting to the controller open My Mobiler. If you click on the arrow on the right hand side of the Task bar, you should find and icon for opening My Mobiler.

4. The TSC3 screen should be displayed in the My Mobiler window. Use the mouse to slide the unlock button across.
