There is a new GNSS Firmware for the Geo Explorer 6000 Series.

Click on Downloads, click on Geo 6000 Explorer Series and then click on 3.01.04 to download the lastet GPS Firmware for the Geo 6000 Series.

Download this upgrade package to upgrade your GeoExplorer 6000 series GeoXT or GeoXH handheld to GNSS firmware version 3.01.4. This firmware release provides a number of GNSS bug fixes and enhancements. Trimble recommends that all users upgrade their GeoExplorer 6000 series GeoXT and GeoXH handhelds to this latest GNSS firmware version.

Improved CEA (current estimated accuracy) computation for real-time correction streams using the RTCM 2.x protocol. Improved absolute position accuracy for real-time corrections streams using the RTCM 2.x protocolResolved an issue relating to GeoExplorer 6000 series receivers incorrectly reporting position status in applications built using the GPS Pathfinder® Field Toolkit

Installation instructions:

1. Download the upgrade file to a location on your desktop computer.

2. Using ActiveSync technology or the Windows Mobile Device Center, copy the upgrade file to your handheld.

3. On the handheld, navigate to the file using File Explorer, then tap the file to run the update.

Installing the version 3.01.4 firmware update package will NOT erase files or applications.
