The current version of Collector for ArcGIS is now thoroughly developed on both iOS and Android platforms which means the old version called Collector Classic is going dark. Starting in late July the app will be removed from both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, neither store will have the app available for download nor will it be supported.
What does this mean for those of you who are still using the Collector Classic? Simply put, now is the time to begin migrating your workforce over to the new platform so as to make your transition as seamless as possible. This includes removing Classic from all applicable devices and downloading Collector for ArcGIS, logging in to make sure all usernames and passwords work, testing to make sure all shared maps and data are editable and to familiarize yourself with the new app.
Speaking of familiarity, we on the Seiler MGIS team know that change can be difficult and thankfully, so does ESRI. That is why they developed Collector for ArcGIS with focuses on ease of use and modern functionality while adding the latest mapping and data collection capabilities available to the ArcGIS platform.

Update (7/29/2020): Collector Classic store listings will now be retired on December 31st, 2020, not end of July 2020. Classic is not supported and you will not be seeing any updates in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. If you have not yet begun migrating from Classic, it is strongly encouraged that you do so as soon as you can.
At this time – “Classic” will remain the only option running on the WIn 10 platform. (It will not turn down when iOS and Android do.)
